Women’s Wrestling Up Top at Bar Wrestling

Women’s wrestling in sports entertainment takes another step in cementing their legacy thanks to Bar Wrestling.

This Californian promotion has provided the best opportunities in the state to see fresh faces in competition at every show. Since its origin, Bar Wrestling has had at least one main event match featuring the ladies of wrestling.

Laura James and Heather Monroe, as a team called The Killer Baes, along with Taya Valkyrie and Delilah Doom, carry the local promotion’s women’s division that was once the home for historic battles such as Candice LeRae vs Tessa Blanchard, Shayna Bazsler vs Hot Young Briley, Melissa Santos’s debut match, and a string of multi-men tag team matches featuring performers from all around the world.

Setting an example for the respect that the company has for women, not one Bar Wrestling show has gone by without a women’s match. This growth is the most influential in any company in The West Coast when it comes to integrating this genre of performance on a mainstream show.

The lost element is noticeable in other shows in the state, where most shows carry about three hours of action without one female match. On a booked and otherwise paid for show by promoters, this is unacceptable for modern sports entertainment. The missing market has driven lop sided interest in driving fans to seek out only the top performers in the male genre, while not giving enough exposure to the women.

Bar Wrestling has integrated equal opportunities to performers who have given their lives to the business, such as Ruby Raze, Tenille Dashwood, Priscilla Kelly, Kiera Hogan, Allie, Katarina Leigh, Kris Wolf, Indi Hartwell, Britt Baker, Chelsea Green, Xia Brookside, Rachel Ellering, Shotzi Blackheart, Miranda, Solo Darling, Ivelisse, Rosemary, Sage Sin, Buggy Nova, Scarlett Bordeaux and more.
